Amblyomma darwini (lat.) - a species of ticks of the genus Amblyomma from the family Ixodidae . South America : Galapagos Islands. Parasites on reptiles , mainly on marine iguanas Amblyrhynchus cristatus , as well as on Tropidurus magnus . In males, the dorsal rigid shield covers the entire body, in females, a third [1] [2] [3] .
