Kopninskoye is a village of the Fominsky rural district of the Konstantinovsky rural settlement of Tutaevsky district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .
The village is located in the center of a rural settlement, southwest of Tutaev and northwest of the village of Konstantinovsky . It is located on the western side of the road following from Tutaev to the south to the village of Chebakovo , and is the first settlement from Tutaev on this road. To the north-west of Kopninsky on the banks of the Rykushi stands the village of Borisovskoye , from the west of the Kopnisky villages Olyunino and Shishkino , and to the south-west Nikolsky . To the east of the village is the industrial zone of Tutaev [2] .
The village of Kopninskoye is indicated on the plan of the General Land Survey of Borisoglebsky Uyezd in 1792. In 1825, Borisoglebsky district was merged with Romanovsky district . According to 1859, the village belonged to the Romanovo-Borisoglebsky district [3] .
On January 1, 2007 in the village of Kopninskoye there were 26 permanent residents [4] . According to the map of 1975, 28 people lived in the village. A post office located in Tutaev serves 6 properties on Solnechnaya in the village, 16 properties on Central Streets [5] .
