Victor D. Ponomaryov (born September 24, 1922, Krasnodar - 2003) is a Soviet and Russian composer , musicologist . Honored Artist of the RSFSR .

Biography
Member of World War II . In 1955 he graduated from the Theoretical and Composer Department of the Leningrad Conservatory . Since 1962, he worked in Krasnodar as a teacher at a music school (until 1967), then at the Krasnodar Institute of Culture , and since 1972, head of the instrumentation department. In 1975-1976, Chairman of the Board of the Krasnodar Organization of the Union of Composers of the RSFSR . July 8, 1991 he was awarded the honorary title " Honored Artist of the RSFSR " [1] .
Creativity
The author of song music to poems by Robert Rozhdestvensky , Ivan Varavva , Viktor Goncharov , Nikolai Gribachev , Kronid Oboyshchikov . Author's collections - “May Rainbow” (1966), “Songs and Choirs” (1973). He wrote music for Krasnodar theaters and symphony orchestras. More famous works: “Two Poems” (to the verses of R. Rozhdestvensky , 1972), suite “Roads of the Fathers” (1968) [1] .
