Biography
He was educated in India. He worked as a school teacher. In the years 1962-1963. - Director of the school. King Tribuhwan in the Salyan region.
In 1973 he was first elected to the National Panchayat (Parliament) of the country. Then he served as assistant minister, state minister and chairman Rastria Panchayat.
In 1986-1990 - Prime Minister of Nepal, the first non-Armenian in this post. He resigned under the pressure of the mass protest movement demanding the abolition of the Panchayat system and the establishment of a multi-party system. In 1989, he decided to forcefully suppress protests, which sharply worsened his public reputation.
