Biography
Came from hereditary noblemen of the St. Petersburg province. The son of Privy Councilor Mikhail Karlovich Klingenberg , the grandson of the military educator General of the Infantry Karl Fedorovich Klingenberg .
In 1883-1886 he studied at the "philological gymnasium" at the St. Petersburg Philological Institute ; then at the law faculty of St. Petersburg University [1]
After graduating from the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg University in 1890, he entered the service of the Ministry of Justice . Since 1891, he served as secretary to the prosecutor of the Kharkov Court of Justice. Then he consistently held the following positions: judicial investigator of the 1st section of the Lubensky district court (1894-1895), fellow prosecutor of the Smolensk district court (1895-1898), fellow prosecutor of the Libavsky district court (1898-1899) and fellow prosecutor of the St. Petersburg district court ( 1899-1902).
In 1902 he was appointed prosecutor of the Yekaterinoslavsky district court, and in 1904 he was transferred to the same position in the Kiev district court.
In 1906 he was appointed assistant prosecutor of the Kiev Court of Justice, and on July 1 of that year he transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and was appointed to the post of governor of Yekaterinoslav. He rose to the rank of state adviser .
Since April 8, 1907, he was a fellow chairman of the Yekaterinoslav diocesan branch of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society. [2]
He died on May 31, 1909 from typhus of the most severe form, having been infected during examination of typhoid prison barracks.
Family
He was married to Eugene Kirillovna Katerinich (b. 1871). Evgenia Kirillovna was a full member of the Kiev club of Russian nationalists [3] .
