"Senachero"
"Senachero" ( Spanish. Cenachero - "peddler with a basket") - a monument in Malaga , a landmark of the city. Installed in the city center on Marina Square. Senachero is a vanished profession, once a picturesque character of the urban life of the coastal cities of Spain, a street fish merchant, a fisherman selling his catch on the streets. Together with Bisnaga and Bokeron is a popular symbol of the city. The cenachero sculpture was created in 1968 by the Malagan artist Jaime Fernandez Pimentel , a real fisherman named Manolo “El Petaka” posed for him. A copy of the Malagan Senacher is installed in the American city of Mobile , the twin city of Malaga.
