Lowriderz is a band from St Petersburg playing stoner rock and satellite rock . Lowriderz released one full-length album and two mini-albums. The group managed to perform in support of such artists as Ozzy Osbourne , Iron Maiden , Deep Purple , Black Sabbath and Red Fang .

Biography
Lowriderz Group was founded in 2010 in St. Petersburg. The name Lowriderz was coined by the drummer of the band. [1] The initial line-up included drummer Maxim Znaevsky, bassist Sergei Ryazantsev, guitarist Alexander Zalichev and vocalist Stanislav Gordeev. In 2010, the mini-album Ride the Walrus was released. The team was chosen by Ozzy Osbourne to warm up at a concert held in St. Petersburg on September 11, 2010. [2] In April-May 2011, Russia hosted a Goin 'Down South Tour. [3] On July 10, 2011 Lowriderz performed in support of Iron Maiden in St. Petersburg. [4] In 2011, the song “Empty Lies” from the mini-album hit the soundtrack of the movie Shatter . [5] In November 2011, a new guitarist, Alexander Lebedev, appeared in the group. In the spring of 2012, a debut album titled “Groovy Grindstone” was released; the digipack version of the album included a DVD, which features a recording of a performance from the opening act of Iron Maiden . [6] In autumn 2012, the band released its first music video for the song "Cold Planet Earth". In November 2012, a new vocalist, Konstantin, joined the group. [7] Lowriderz musicians appeared in two documentaries on heavy music in Russia: Get True Stay Loud and Underground: How not to become a star. Both films were released in 2012. [8] [9] On November 08, 2013, Lowriderz performed at a Deep Purple concert. [10] A clip for the song Take Care Of My Horse from the upcoming mini-album was released on December 31, 2013. [11] On June 3, 2014, the band performed at a Black Sabbath concert in St. Petersburg. Then Stanislav Gordeev returned to the group. [12] On March 19, 2016 Lowriderz presented the mini-album “7 Foot Turbodiesel”, the work on which lasted several years.
