Biography
Born on February 4, 1921 in the village of Budenovka, now Bobruisk district, Mogilev region, in a peasant family. Byelorussian. Since 1938 - in the Komsomol.
In 1940 he graduated from 10 classes of the school and the Bobruisk flying club. In the same year, 1940, he volunteered to serve in the Red Army . In 1940 he graduated from the 8th Odessa, in 1941 - Konotop, in 1942 - Armavir military aviation school pilots.
On the fronts of World War II from August 1942 in the 32nd Fighter Aviation Regiment [1] . In October 1942 he arrived at the 18th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment . On August 30, 1943, near the town of Yelny, N.G. Pinchuk was wounded after ramming an enemy dive Ju-87. He was sent to the hospital for treatment. On September 2, all the wounded in cars were taken to the railway station for evacuation to the rear. On the way, N.G. Pinchuk fled to his regiment and a month later was already in combat formation again. In the spring of 1944 he was appointed deputy commander, and in January 1945 - commander of the 1st Squadron.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 19, 1945, for 226 sorties, 46 air battles, 18 enemy aircraft shot down and the courage and high flying skills shown, guards Captain Pinchuk Nikolay Grigoryevich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the medal “ The Golden Star . Member of the CPSU / CPSU since 1945.
In total, during the war years, he made 307 sorties, participating in 68 air battles, shot down 24 enemy aircraft - 22 personally (one ram) and 2 in the group [1] .
After the war, he continued to serve in the Air Force. In 1954 he graduated with honors from the Air Force Academy [4] . Since 1975, Colonel N.G. Pinchuk is in stock.
He lived in the hero city of Minsk.
He died on January 12, 1978. He was buried at the Eastern cemetery in Minsk.
