Biography
Boris Arabov was born in Sofia . He received his acting education in Sofia at the Higher Institute of Theater Arts (in the class of Georgi Stamatov, which he graduated in 1950) and in Moscow at the acting school at the Moscow Art Theater in 1951-1955. Already during his studies, he performed in the Bulgarian broadcasts of Radio Moscow, and later in the performances of the “Theater of the Bulgarian National Radio”. He was an actor in the theater, also played roles in films.
In 1969, he received the title of Honored Artist.
In recent years, the Arabs moved to the chamber scene. He played in Mandragor and The Legend of Don Juan. He took part in a number of oratorios by Dobrin Petkov and Konstantin Iliev. He also appeared in the films First Lesson, Tango, Iconostasis, Stolen Train, Vibration.
Boris Arabov died on April 4, 1984 in Sofia.
