History
The group became aware when The Uchpochmack tracks were uploaded to iTunes : the song “Someday” appeared on November 5, “Mistress” on November 12, and “Lightbulbs” on November 19, 2013. Compositions were laid out once a week and each of them rose to the first line of the chart [1] [2] . During the first month after the release of the first EP, “First & Last” on iTunes, the actual composition of the group was unknown, but it was reported that Zemfira was part of the group. In the Mistress song, the second vocalist was David Brown of Brazzaville [2] .
On December 14, during a solo concert of Zemfira in the concert hall "Russia" , a live performance of the group took place, which took place at the very end of the main program. The singer from the stage announced the names of the participants: in addition to Zemfira herself, acting under the pseudonym “Rocket”, the group included her nephews - Arthur Ramazanov-Ostapenko (“Luka”) and Artyom Ramazanov-Ostapenko (“Bro”) [3] [4] . On January 2, 2014, the band’s official website appeared on which a video of the band’s first performance was uploaded.
May 19, 2014 at the entrance to Gorky Park in Moscow, a huge banner appeared with the silhouettes of the group members. Initially, there were no official explanations from Zemfira's management [5] , but soon Zemfira announced on her website that she was planning several performances [6] [7] . Soon it became known about the performance of the Uchpouchmak at the festival “ Subbotnik ” [8] and at the festival “Alfa Future People”, which was supposed to be held on July 12 near Nizhny Novgorod [6] .
Indeed, on July 5, the planned performance of The Uchpochmack took place. In addition to the main composition of the group, Zemfira's guitarist Dmitry Emelyanov and Renars Kaupers from the Brainstorm band performed on stage. Renars sang David Brown's part in the song Mistress, as well as playing along with the keys and singing along. In addition to the three well-known songs, the festival performed a new song “This Summer” (or “If We Survive This Summer”) and a cover of Farrell Williams 's song “ Happy ” [9] [10] [11] .
On the night of July 12-13, the Uchpochmak performed at the Alfa Future People festival, which was held near Nizhny Novgorod . The concert program was the same as at the “Subbotnik” festival; Renars Kaupers [12] [13] [14] also took part in the concert.
