Geography
It is located on the border of the Tver and Vologda regions, on the Rybinsk Reservoir , at the mouth of the Reni River, about 3 km (in a straight line, by road - 22 km) to the northwest of the regional center - the city of Vesyegonsk [2] . The nearest village is Peremut village (1.5 km). This place is considered an abnormal zone .

Historical Information
According to 1859, Bodachevo is a state - owned village of the 1st camp of the Vesyegonsky district of the Tver province along the Yaroslavl-Ustyuzhsky postal tract from Vesyegonsk, at the Rene river, 4 versts from the county town, with 10 yards , 66 residents (31 men, 35 women) and factory [3] . In 1915, there were 24 courtyards, the village was part of the Peremut volost [4] .
