Bagarchhap is a village and community in Nepal located in the administrative district of Manang . According to 1991 data, the population of Bagarchhap was 534 people living in 116 private homes [1] .

Geography
The village is located at an altitude of 2100 m in the valley of the Marsyandi River at the northern slopes of the Annapurna massif.
On November 10, 1995 , during heavy rain, a large part of the Bagarchhap village was destroyed by a landslide , in which 11 local residents and 9 tourists died. This was not the first case of a landslide in the vicinity of Bagarchhap, so many residents decided to leave the village and move to neighboring settlements [2] [3] .
Transport
In 2012, with the opening of the Besisakhar - Manang dirt road, motor communication with the village of Bagarchhap became possible. Until that time, getting into the village was possible only by hiking mountain trails.
Tourism
Through Bagarchhap passes the hiking route "Track around Annapurna . " Guest houses and restaurants are located in the village.
