Ibito ( Chíbito, Chibito, Híbito, Hibito, Hívito, Ibito, Jibito, Jivito, Xibita, Zibito ) is a dead Indian language belonging to the Ibito-Cholonian family of languages, which was previously spoken on by the tributary of Uyabamba, entering from the west side into the river Ualag , a tributary of the Helache River Boronach in Peru. According to the 17th edition of the Ethnologue Handbook, in 1851 there were 500 ibito speakers.
