Vudsia Alpine ( Lat. Woodsīa alpīna ) is a perennial herb, a species of the Woodsia family ( Woodsiaceae ).

Habitat and habitat
Area: Scandinavia , Atlantic Europe , mountains of Europe ( Alps , Pyrenees , Apennines , Sudetes , Urals , Caucasus ), Western and Eastern Siberia , North America .
As a rule, he chooses shaded gorges for growth with the release of crystalline rocks, likes stony, sandy soils of slightly acidic or neutral reaction.
Botanical description
A perennial plant up to 10 cm high. The root is short, many-headed, bearing sockets dying for the winter wai . Pets Vai reddish-brown.
Fronds oblong-lanceolate up to 20 cm long, hairy, covered with linear-lanceolate brownish scales, slightly lowered.
Spores are prickly, wrinkled. Sporulation in July - August.
They reproduce both by spores and vegetatively [1] , [2] .
