Hassan Murselov Isaev ( Bulgarian. Hassan Murselov Isaev ; born , ) is a Bulgarian freestyle wrestler, Olympic champion , two-time world champion, two-time European champion [1] [2] .

Biography
Born in the village of Bisertsi near Razgrad. From the age of 10, he was engaged in wrestling with the trainer-self-taught Bayram Veliev.
In 1973, he won silver at the World Cup, and for the next two years became the world champion. Also in 1973 he became the champion of Europe, achieved the same in 1975, and in 1976 he was removed from the competition by a doctor.
At the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, he fought in the category of up to 48 kilograms ( first flyweight ). The elimination of the tournament took place as penalties accumulated. No penalty points were awarded for a clear victory or victory with a clear advantage of 12 points or more, 0.5 penalty points were awarded for a victory for a clear advantage, 1 penalty point for a victory in points, 2 or 2.5 penalty points for a draw, for a loss on points - 3 penalty points, loss for a clear advantage - 3.5 penalty points, a net loss or loss for a clear advantage of 12 points or more - 4 penalty points. If a wrestler scored 6 or more penalty points, he was eliminated from the tournament. Khasan Isaev, despite losing to Roman Dmitriev , came out on top due to the results of the battles of Isaev and Dmitriev with the Japanese wrestler Akira Kudo and the fight of Isaev with the Korean Kim Hwa Chen.
According to Levan Tediashvili : “In my sports life I had to see different things, but I couldn’t see such an ugly judicial act as was committed in relation to Roman Dmitriev. They just took and took the gold medal from him ” [3]

He was distinguished by the original wrestling on the carpet, and the coach of the Bulgarian national team, Professor Raiko Petrov, coined the term “motor fantasy” for Khasan Isaev and noted that the wrestler on the carpet showed fantastic movements that weren’t in the textbook and that his struggle was a performance [4] .
After a career, in coaching at the Ludogorets sports club; his students won more than 70 medals in various competitions.
