You allowed again ( God! Hear the word [1] ; German: Segne und behüte ) - a popular gospel hymn. It is included in the collection of both Lutheran (in the "green collection" of Yeltsi , No. 74 [2] ) and Baptist songs ( Song of the Renaissance , No. 3) [3] . The authorship of the text, apparently, belongs to I. Prokhanov [4] . The song was originally included in Gusli's collection number 443

You let again
We need to hear the Word.
Bow your holy face to us,
That your light penetrated into us.
And abide in gifts
And still with us.
Give us the Spirit of grace
Give Christ the soul to accept.
Praise God
In the living Christ!
He is the salvation crown
He is the beginning and the end!
Baptist version
In the original version, the first two lines were sung like God! You allowed to hear the word again . The last line of the hymn sounded like He is our Shepherd and Father [1] (although it was related to Christ - which, perhaps, caused the subsequent edition).
