Zhedets ( Ukrainian: Zhedets ) is a river in the Kamenka-Bug , Zholkovsky and Sokalsky districts of the Lviv region of Ukraine. Right tributary of the Rata River ( Vistula basin ).

Length 43 km, catchment area 227 km². The slope of the river is 1.1 m / km. The width of the valley is 1-3 km. The channel is sewer, regulated by ponds, 8-10 m wide. It is used for technical water supply.
It originates between the villages of Kolodentsy and Vykhopny . It flows mainly to the north within the Nadbuzhansky depression . It flows into Ratu north of the village of Borovoye , located between the cities of Velikiye Mosty and Sosnovka .
It flows through the villages of Vykhopnya, Volya-Zhovtanetskaya , Vysokofedovka , Zhedets , Mazyarka , Kupichvolya , Stirrups , Reklinets , Borovoe.
