It is located to the west of Taldom, not far from the river Dubna on its right bank, near the villages of Gosenka and Nagovitsino .
To Taldom goes first country road, which then goes to the highway P112 . With the district center there is a regular bus service, the distance to the city is ten kilometers.
From the history of the Taldom district it is known:
Until 1764, it belonged to the Resurrection maiden in the Kremlin, a monastery. In 1781, a state-owned village with 9 yards and 50 souls, in 1851, 16 yards, 142 inhabitants, in 1859, 19 yards, 59 male souls, 65 female [2] .
Before the municipal reform of 2006, it was part of the Yudinsky rural district [3] [4] .
In the Taldom district there is another village called Vysochka , it is adjacent to the city of Taldom and is included in the urban settlement of Taldom .
