Pierce, hit

Pierce began his football career playing for the University of Portland's football team.

In 2005, Heath signed a contract with the Danish Norschellann . He immediately won a place at the base of the club and was the leader of defense for two seasons.

On July 16, 2007, Pierce signed a two-year contract with the German Hansa ^[1] . On August 11, in his match against Bayern , he made his debut in the Bundesliga. ^[2] At the end of the season, the team flew into the Second Bundesliga . In April 2009, Heath was transferred to the reserve ^[3] , due to the fact that he was suspected of simulating an injury. Although Pierce claimed that this was not true, the contract with him was terminated.

On September 2, 2009, it was reported that Pierce entered into a two-year contract with Turkish Bursaspor ^[4] , but the deal fell through as it was not completed before the transfer window was closed. After this setback, Heath returned to the United States , where on September 11 he signed an agreement with the Dallas club. On October 25, in his match against the Seattle Sounders , he made his MLS debut ^[5] . In 2010, Pierce helped the team reach the final of the MLS Cup .

In February 2011, Pierce was exchanged at Chivas USA for distribution facilities . On March 20, 2011 in a duel against Sporting Kansas City , Heath made his debut for a new club ^[6] .

In 2012, Pierce was exchanged for Juan Agudelo at the New York Red Bulls . On May 20, in a match against Montreal Impact , he made his debut for a new club ^[7] . On June 21, Heath scored his first goal in MLS against Vancouver Whitecaps ^[8] . In the summer of 2013, he had a relapse of a hip injury, which forced him to resort to surgery and end the season. At the end of the year, Pierce’s contract with the New York Red Bulls ended and was not renewed ^[9] . He was available at the 2013 MLS Returns Draft, but was not selected.

On March 6, 2014, Pierce was signed by the Montreal Impact Club ^[10] . March 23, in a match against the “Seattle Sounders” Pierce made his debut for the “Montreal” ^[11] . In December, at the MLS 2014 draft pick, Pierce was chosen by the Orlando City Club.

On January 29, 2015, Pierce entered into a five-month agreement with the Gothenburg Championship Club of Sweden ^[12] .

On November 12, 2005, in a friendly match against the Scottish national team, Heath made his debut for the US national team , replacing Damarcus Beasley in the second half ^[13] . In 2006, Pierce was called for friendly matches before the World Cup , but was not included in the final application.

In 2007, Heath participated in the America's Cup . At the tournament, he took part in the match against the Colombian national team ^[14] . In 2009, Pierce played for the national team at the Confederations Cup and won silver medals. He was a substitute and never entered the field. In the same year, Pierce as part of the US national team played at the CONCACAF Gold Cup and won the silver of the competition. In the tournament, Heath played in matches against the national teams of Honduras ^{[15] [16]} , Mexico ^[17] , Grenada ^[18] and Panama ^[19] .
