KUDO CHALLENGE 2013 (International tournament for the Cup of the Union of Development and Construction Companies) is the first international commercial Kudo tournament in the absolute male and female categories, held on December 1, 2013 in Moscow (STADIUM LIVE concert hall) . The prize pool of the tournament amounted to 1,000,000 rubles [1] [2] [3] .

It is worth noting that the tournament in the women's category was of the nature of a rematch for the defeat of D. Ivanova from I. Bykova in the final of the Kudo World Cup, held in 2011 in Moscow.

For objectivity, it is worth noting that the victory of D. Ivanova in this match was due to an injury received by I. Bykova in “extra time”, in connection with which the latter was not able to continue the fight and was subsequently hospitalized at MGNIISP im. N.V. Sklifosovsky . Before injuring Bykova I., both athletes did not have superiority over each other in glasses.
Features of the rules
At KUDO CHALLENGE 2013, changes to the general rules of Kudo were introduced, which entailed great entertainment of Kudo as a martial art of martial arts: lateral contact finishing with hands on the head of the opponent lying on the tatami was allowed [8] .
Broadcast
The entire tournament was broadcast live by the Fight Club TV channel and Sportbox.ru portal. In the recording, fights starting from the 1/8 finals were also broadcast on the Russia-2 TV channel [9] [10] [11] .
