Biography
She was born in the summer of 1908 in the village of Ollile in the family of Colonel Amos Markovich Kash [1] and Evgenia Ivanovna - the daughter of a teacher at the First Moscow Gymnasium [ specify ] Ivan Grigorievich Semenovich.
Until 1914, the family lived in Petersburg and Kronstadt, then moved to Moscow.
She studied at the private school Sumarokova in Sivtsev-Vrazhsky Lane in Moscow. In 1918 she entered the third group of the 18th Soviet school, graduated in 1925, nine groups of the 15th nine-year school, the full name of which according to the round stamp on the certificate reads: United Labor Soviet School No. 15 of the Khamovnichesky District.
In 1939 she entered the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. V.I. Lenin at the Faculty of Defectology, specializing in language and literature, the qualification was awarded to a teacher of language and literature, the title was a secondary school teacher, and graduated from it in 1945. But she never worked in this specialty.
She began her career in September 1940 as a speech therapist at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Child Psychoneurology (NAMETS), where she worked until the closure of the speech therapy room with the outbreak of war in July 1941.
Upon returning from evacuation to Moscow, she went to work at the Children's Clinic No. 21, located on 2nd Izvoznaya Street.
In 1948, she began working at the Research Institute of Defectology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the RSFSR , continuing to work in the clinic.
In December 1956 she defended her thesis and received a diploma of a candidate of pedagogical sciences.
In 1983, the specialized council of the Scientific Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences was approved by the scientific correspondent of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
Scientific Activities
All the post-war years and the beginning of the fifties, she was actively engaged in both practical and scientific work, and worked with student students at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. At the Scientific Research Institute of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, where she worked all her life, she went from a teacher in the clinical sector, a speech therapist from the speech therapy department of the institute, to a senior researcher in the speech therapy sector.
Books, textbooks, articles, methods, manuals and manuals were in demand among specialized preschool and school institutions of the USSR, often there were requests to send copies of various printed and hand-written materials, scientific developments, and methodological recommendations. The books donated to her by colleague from Sofia Venelin Ivanov in memory of teamwork have been preserved, as well as a draft translation of the letter from Amsterdam dated August 29, 1974: “... to be able to attract the attention of your colleagues all over the world to the valuable work you published would be very obliged if you would send us her resume ... " [ significance of fact? ] . Abstracts were sent to the journal Excerpta medica .
Proceedings
For the books Fundamentals of Theory and Practice of Speech Therapy Presidium of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR awarded the first prizes of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR and awarded diplomas.
The last lifetime edition was the book “Preparing for school children with speech impairments”, published in 1985, when Galina Amosovna Kasha was already seventy-eighth year! And the release of the last two books (a book and didactic material) was already engaged in 1988-1989 by her student and co-author T. B. Filicheva.
Until now, for more than thirty years, her work lives and continues to bring benefits. So, in 2002, the book "Fundamentals of Speech Therapy" was published, which cites Galina Amosovna Kache's programs and methods as recommendations. Her books, articles, and teaching aids are currently being used as textbooks by students of the Faculty of Defectology of the Pedagogical University (former V. I. Lenin Pedagogical Institute).
