Theatrum Anatomicum ( Latin: Theatrum Anatomicum ) is the building of the Anatomical Museum , currently the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University , Krakow , Poland. It is located at 12 - 14 Copernicus Street. A protected monument of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship .
The building of the Anatomical Museum was built in 1872 by the architect Ludwik Teichmann specifically for the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University. From the very beginning, the building housed a lecture hall in the form of an amphitheater for 200 students.
On August 8, 1990, the building was included in the register of cultural monuments of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (No. A-856).
