Arnold Luhayär ( est. Arnold Luhaäär , October 20, 1905 - January 19, 1965 ) - Estonian weightlifter, medalist of the Olympic Games in Amsterdam (1928) and Berlin (1936).

Born in Mõisakül , Russian Empire . In 1928 at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam, he won a silver medal in the weight category over 82.5 kg. In 1932, Estonia did not send a delegation to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , but in 1933 Arnold Luhayar won the silver medal at the European Championship. In 1936 he became the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Berlin , and in 1938 - the bronze medalist of the world championship.
After the Second World War in 1946-1948 he was the president of the Spartak club (Tallinn), and in 1949-1952 he headed the panel of judges of the Weightlifting Federation of the Estonian SSR.
