Biography
Born on June 13, 1938 in Paris into the family of a poet and artist, a representative of the noble family of Muravyevs , Nikita Sergeyevich Muravyov and Maria Mikhailovna Rodzianko (granddaughter of Mikhail Rodzyanko [2] ). He is a direct descendant of Sergei Nikolaevich Muravyev (1809–1874), the younger brother of Aleksandr Nikolaevich Muravyov (Decembrist, 1792–1863), Nikolai Nikolaevich Muravyev – Karssky (1794–1867), Count Mikhail Nikolaevich Muravyev – Vilensky (1796–1866) and Andrei Nikolaevich Muravyov (1806-1874). [3]
In 1957 he moved to the Soviet Union . He studied at the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages (not graduated). Since the mid-1960s, engaged in self-education. Since 1992 he lives in France. In the USSR, he earned translations, in France - simultaneous translation [4] .

Since 1999, he has published the Heraclitea series in Germany in ancient Greek and French (11 volumes have been published). In 2012, he published a one-volume full set of antique information about Heraclitus and its fragments with a Russian translation [5] . The works of Muravyov on the texts of Heraclitus provoked sharp criticism of a number of specialists [6] - first of all, A. V. Lebedev , who regarded them as completely unscientific [7] .
