Michael Adelbulner ( German: Michael Adelbulner ; February 3, 1702 , Nuremberg - July 21, 1779 , Altdorf-Nuremberg ) - German mathematician, physicist and astronomer.

Michael was born into the family of the book printer Johann Ernst Adelbulner. After attending a gymnasium in Nuremberg, he moved to Leipzig to begin his studies as a father. In addition, he studied humanities and philosophy. He lived in Halle , Magdeburg and Hamburg , and returned to his hometown due to the death of his mother. There he soon began to study mathematics and astronomy with Johann Doppelmeyer and Johann Leongart Rost . After four years, he continued his studies at Altdorf University , studied humanities at Schwartz, higher mathematics at Johann Heinrich Müller , and philosophy at Michael Kelsch.
In 1733, on the initiative of the traveling traveler, Anders Celsius began publishing the first astronomy journal Commercium litterarium ad astronomiae incrementum. After that, in 1736 he was admitted to the Prussian Academy of Sciences .
After the death of his father in 1737 and on the initiative of Christoph Jacob Trev and D. Knopf, he sold his father's printing house and returned to Altdorf to study medicine with Johann Jacob Jantke and Weiss ( German Weiß ). In 1738 he defended his doctoral dissertation in medicine on the theme "Theses medicae physiologico-pathologicae, Pulmonum fabricam, usum, uariaque, quibus affliguntur, incommoda generatim complectentes". In 1741 he became a member of Leopoldina .
In 1742 , after the death of old professor Michael Kelsch in Altdorf, he became his successor in the department of mathematics.
