Aveti ( Arauine, Arauite, Aueti, Aueto, Auiti, Awetí, Awetï, Awetö ) is an endangered Native American language that belongs to the Tupi language family spoken by the Aveti people living in the villages of Aveti and Sauwa on the Kuliseu River (top Shingu River), in the Shingu National Park of Mato Grosso State in Brazil. As of 2011, almost all carriers are children. Many also speak Camayura , and some, mostly men, use Portuguese.
