Smolino is a village in the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region , part of the rural settlement Volchenkovskoe [1] . The resident population according to the 2010 All-Russian Census is 14 people [2] , in the village there are 2 streets and 3 garden associations [3] . Until 2006, Smolino was part of the Nazarevsky rural district [4] [5] .

The village is located in the southwestern part of the district, on the right bank of the small river Berezovka (a tributary of the Ilyatenka river ) [6] , about 14 km east of the city of Vereya , the height of the center above sea level is 198 m [7] . The nearest settlements are Grove on the opposite bank of the river, Cheblokovo 1 km to the south and the village of the Arkhangelsk state farm 1.2 km to the west.
