History
It is known that the church in the village existed from the 16th century and, apparently, perished in troubled times .
The new stone one-throne church, in the name of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary , the church, with a bell tower and a stone fence, was built by the owner of Borzetsovo, a collegiate counselor Anastasia Brazhnikova in 1781.
At the beginning of the 19th century, a parish school operated at the church. In Soviet times, the church was closed and destroyed, returned to believers in 1988. Currently restored.
