Afanasy Grigorievich Kamynin (Komynin) (1689 - not earlier than 1760, possibly 1769) - Russian statesman and military leader, current state adviser (1754), vice president of the Votchinoy college .

- He began his service in 1704 as a soldier in the Semenovsky regiment .
- In 1707 he was promoted to ensign in the Vologda Infantry Regiment .
