Ernest Nordley ( June 15, 1912 , Salt Lake City - April 22, 1968 , San Francisco ) - American designer and layout artist, primarily for Disney.

Nordley, nicknamed "Ernie", was a talented artist, he began working in the Disney studio in 1936 and served as art director. In the mid-1940s, he worked on Donald Duck series such as The Plastics Inventor and Donald's Double Trouble. He left Disney and in the 1950s became an artist-layout for Chuck Jones, in the absence of Maurice Noble. Nordley returned to Disney, where he worked on the Sleeping Beauty and One Hundred and Dalmatian cartoons, of which he was a layout stylist.
Ernie Nordley continued to work until his death. His later works such as The Alvin Show, Murlyka (1962), Hi, I am a Yoga bear (1964), Man From Button Willow (1965).
He died in April 1968 in San Francisco, California, at the age of 55. No explanation for his death.
