Trigonisca discolor (lat.) - a species of stingless bees from the tribe Meliponini of the Apidae family. Ghost workers with several sets in addition to small hairs. Do not use a sting when protecting. The sting has been preserved, but in a strongly reduced form. The species was first described in 1965 by the entomologist A. Wille, under the original name Trigona (Trigonisca) discolor . Nest in tree cavities [1] [2] [3] .
