Nugget is a village in the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region , part of the rural settlement Volchenkovskoye [1] . The resident population according to the 2010 All-Russian Census is 5 people [2] , 2 garden associations are registered in the village [3] . Until 2006, Samorod was part of the Afanasyevsky rural district [4] [5] .

The village is located in the southwestern part of the region, on the nameless right tributary of the Isma river (tributary of the Protva ) [6] , about 5 km east of the city of Vereya , near the border with the Mozhaisk district , the center is 190 m above sea level [7] . The nearest town is Volchenki , 1.7 km to the south-west.
