Biography
Son of a priest Primary education in Ryazan Theological Seminary [1] , higher education - in Moscow University . After graduating from the Medical Faculty of Moscow University (1847) with the rank of doctor of the 1st department [2] . Admitted as an assistant (1851) to the department of the faculty surgical clinic of Moscow University to Professor F. I. Inozemtsev . After defending his doctoral thesis "De structurae urethrae, quae organicae appelantur" (1855), he was sent on a foreign trip to prepare for a professorship. Engaged in surgery in Paris and Heidelberg. Upon his return, he was appointed adjunct in the department of surgery, since 1864 - assistant professor . Extraordinary Professor (1868), Ordinary Professor (1874) in the Department of Operative Surgery. Resigned for 25 years of service (1876).
Raztsvetov donated his library to the Moscow Society of Russian Doctors and participated prominently in the Society of Lovers of Natural Science, Anthropology and Ethnography as Chairman of the anthropological department and Vice-Chairman of the Society; he established a prize and a medal for anthropological research with his company.
Wife - Anna Nikolaevna (? - 1908). In 1891 they bought the house number 36 on the Arbat . In Bykovo, the specific cottages had an extensive country house.
From 1894 he was a member of the Council of the Minister of Public Education. He was a member of the central offices of private railways.
He was buried in the cemetery of the Donskoy Monastery .
After the death of his wife in 1908, under the terms of the will of A.P. Raztstovetov, his capital was used for scholarships for students of Moscow University [3] .
