Biography
In 1950 he entered the Higher Theological Seminary in the city of Kielce, after which he was ordained priest on June 17, 1956. From 1958, he was the prefect of the Higher Theological Seminary in Kielce, and from 1968 was the vice-rector of this seminary. In 1978 he became the prior of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Kielce. .
On May 7, 1982, Pope John Paul II appointed Mieczyslaw Jaworski as auxiliary bishop of the Kielce diocese and titular bishop of Rapidum . On 6 June 1982, Mechislav Yavorsky was ordained a bishop by the Bishop of Kielce Stanislav Shimetsky, in cooperation with the Bishop of Sandomierz Radom, Edward Henryk Materi and the auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Kielce and the titular Bishop of Tzalbald, and the auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Kielce and the titular Bishop of Tzalbald, and the auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Kielce and the titular Bishop of Tzalbald
He died on August 19, 2001 in the city of Kielce.
