Match progress

An unconditional favorite of the match was Torpedo, which spent almost the entire first half in attacks. However, at the 40th minute, the car makers missed a counterattack, and after a pass by Leonid Buryak, Alexey Eremenko played with his hand in his penalty area. Guram Adjoev realized the 11-meter hit.

In the second half, Torpedo players continued to attack, but Metalist began to play more sharply. At the 61st minute, Leonid Buryak and Guram Adzhoyev played a combination that was completed with a header by Alexander Baranov . The Moscow team did not stop, but failed to reduce the distance in the long run.
