Sports career

At international competitions, Baptiste made his debut at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Tursby , where he finished 26th in the sprint, 19th in the pursuit race, and 28th in the individual race. A year later, at the Junior World Championships in Nove Mesto na Morave, he was 43rd in the sprint and 37th in the pursuit, along with Florent Claude, Simon Destie and Ludwig Erhart - the 5th in the relay. In 2011, at the European Championships in Ridnaun, Baptiste finished 28th in the individual race and 17th in the sprint. At the 2012 European Championships in Slovakian Brezno-Osrblie, he took the 9th place in the individual race and the 7th place in the relay. At the 2012 Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti, Baptiste finished 8th in the sprint, 9th in the pursuit, 23rd in the individual race and 4th in the relay.

The first international men's race was the individual race of the 2010/2011 season at the IBU Cup in Nove Mesto-na-Morave , where it became the 68th. Baptiste earned his first cup points at the final stage in Annecy , where he finished 39th in the sprint and 33rd in the pursuit. In the 2011/2012 season, he took the 38th place in the IBU Cup overall standings, in the 2012/2013 season - the 19th.

In the season 2013/2014 Baptiste made his debut in the World Cup . In his second race - the sprint in Ostersund - he took 13th place and scored the first points in the World Cup.

In the 2014/2015 season, he won two sprints in a row at the IBU Cup stage in Obertilliach .

At the 2017 Winter Universiade, he won 2 gold medals - in the individual 20 km race and 15 km mass start [1] [2] .
