Dialogue

Dialogism is a generalized characteristic of a number of concepts of dialogic philosophy (sometimes a synonym for dialogic philosophy ; when distinguishing these terms, “dialogic philosophy” is used as the name of heterogeneous concepts that affirm the importance of dialogue [1] , and “dialogism” as the name of some generalized program into which all the developments of dialogic philosophy develop; sometimes dialogism is considered as a special kind of personalism or existentialism due to the kinship of a number of ideas). The concepts of “Three B” were the most important for the formation of dialogue: M. Buber (Wikipedia claims that the dialogue philosophy is based on it), M. Bakhtin (in English sources, the term “dialogue” often refers only to Bakhtin , see the Dialogic article on Wikipedia) and V.S.Bibler . In addition to them, the development of dialogism was also significantly influenced by: F. Rosenzweig , O. Rosenstock-Hussi , F. Ebner , G. Marcel , E. Levinas , S. L. Frank , G. S. Batishchev, B. Waldenfels and Jürgen Habermas. Under the influence of hermeneutics and neo-Kantianism, dialogists tried to justify a new type of reflection - dialogical reflection as opposed to the monologic thinking of the classical philosophical tradition (subject-subject relationship instead of subject-object; see the relationship in the pedagogy of one [2] and the other [3] ). A new type of thinking should be included in the relationship with You (and not be a distant description of objects), imply a real act, and not abstract theoreticality. This means that there is no pure I (I am always directed either towards You or to cognition of an object) [4] , there is no speech per se, but only directed towards the Other (Rosenzweig’s “I think, therefore, I speak”). For dialogueism, the religious party is an essential aspect, including since any “You” is a reflection of the only “You” of God with which a person conducts an ongoing dialogue. Some ideas essential for dialogueism were also expressed in phenomenology (primarily the concept of intersubjectivity ), communication theory and a number of humanities (for example, the concept of “ internal dialogue ”). The dialogue project as a generalized program was not fully implemented, but substantially predetermined both the subsequent development of humanities and philosophy, as well as some ideological constructions and practices. The relevance of dialogueism today is largely associated with the “communicative explosion” of modern culture, however, this also predetermines the erasure of some essential aspects of the dialogue strategy (when focusing on the message, the subject is “erased” - cf. Bart's concept of “ death of the author ”). The development of dialogueism continues to be actively conducted, especially in post-Soviet countries [5] [6] [7] , taking into account the search for new guidelines for philosophy as opposed to the trends of socialism and individualism.
