Lundy was a member of the National Council of Corporations , chairman of the fascist confederation of credit and insurance workers. He founded the Center for Corporate Culture and Propaganda. He represented fascist Italy in international labor organizations.

Lundy actively participated in the reform of labor law, bringing it in line with the principles of corporatism. However, he did a lot in terms of social orientation of the new labor standards. He paid special attention to the corporate and trade union organization of employees of institutions and the banking system. Lundy succeeded in lifting a pre-existing ban on union organizations for employees of state-owned banks.

He was promoted to professor of labor law and taught at the University of Genoa . He wrote a number of works on the corporate structure, social protection, and the regulation of the credit system in a fascist state. Giuseppe Lundy built fascist corporatism to the socio-philosophical heritage of Giuseppe Mazzini [2] .

In the early 1940s, Lundy led the Confederation of Fascist Syndicates of Industrial Workers. In the early years of World War II, Lundy sought to freeze prices in the interests of low-paid workers, and dealt with food supply issues. However, it was not possible to prevent a socio-economic collapse. Fascist unions have lost confidence. In May 1943 , after mass strikes, Lundy resigned from union posts.

After the war, Giuseppe Lundy joined the neo-fascist Italian social movement . In the party leadership he oversaw trade union topics. In 1950, became the first secretary general of the neofascist trade union CISNAL; now - the Universal Labor Union . He remained in this post until his death in 1964 [3] . He conducted the corporate- syndicalist line traditional for Italian fascism in the union. Since 1958, Lundy has served as a union leader on the National Council of Economics and Labor, an advisory body to the Italian government . He initiated a series of social and labor bills.

The activities of Landy under the fascist regime are not considered criminal. Being engaged in social and labor issues, he was not related to terrorist structures and repressions. The prominent role of Giuseppe Lundy in the history of the Italian trade union movement [4] is recognized even by his political opponents.
