Round sculpture - a type of sculpture , which is a product of three-dimensional volume (visible from all sides). The main types of round sculpture are a bust , a statue , a sculptural group . This sculpture is intended mainly for circular inspection.
Round sculpture is divided into three types: monumental, monumental, decorative and easel. The first is designed to stand out on the streets and in architectural ensembles, characterized by socially significant themes and pathos. The second, on the contrary, should be in harmony with the environment and is intended for decoration. Easel sculpture is intended for enclosed spaces. In addition, round sculpture is divided into genres: statues (images of a person in height), sculptural groups (associations of figures), portraits (including those made in the form of statues or sculptural groups - group portraits) and animal works.
