Biography
Said Badria was born in 1957 in the city of Port Said , Egypt . He grew up in poverty, dreaming of acting in films, and realized his childhood dream, playing roles in major Hollywood films such as “ His Man ”, “ Three Kings ” and “ Independence Day ”.
Career
After studying at the film school of New York University, he moved to Hollywood , where he first worked as an assistant actor and director Anthony Perkins , and then with director James Cameron on the film " True Lies " [1] . His desire to show the Arab-American history led to the creation of his own production studio Zoom in Focus [2] .
In 2008, Badria starred in the movie Iron Man as an arms dealer abducting Tony Stark ( Robert Downey Jr. ). In the same year, he played the comedic role of a taxi driver in the film " Don't Mess with Zohan ."
Badria starred in the film “ Between Space ” (2010) and starring in the film Cargo (2011) [3] and, in addition, voiced characters in the game “ Uncharted 3: Drake's Illusions ”. In 2013, he played cameo roles in the films " Movie 43 " and " Three Dunce, " and also starred in the movie "The Dictator ."
