Gyёрr -Per International Airport ( Hungarian Győr-Pér nemzetközi repülőtér ) ( IATA : QGY , ICAO : LHPR ) is one of the five international airports in Hungary , located near the village of Per , 15 km southeast of Gyраr .

The airport was founded in 1994 on the basis of a former military base. In 2000-2003, it underwent a complete reconstruction, in 2003 he took the first international flight. In 2013, the former 1,450-meter landing strip was extended to 2030 meters, which allowed the airport to begin accepting Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft [1] .
The airport is used both for local national flights and for international flights. In 2012, 6 659 take-offs / landings were made at the airport, of which 2,453 were international. The number of passengers on international flights is 29,706 [2] . Among other things, the airport is used by employees of the Audi factory in Gyor for business flights to Germany . The airport is located near the M81 motorway, which allows you to quickly get to Gyor by car or shuttle bus.
