The Hidden Wiki (from English - "Hidden Wiki") is the name of several websites with the same name, located in the .onion zone of the Tor anonymous network. The site is an anonymous wiki encyclopedia protected from censorship. Anyone after registration can edit materials. The home page of the site is a collection of links to other .onion sites and wikis .

Description
The Hidden Wiki is an open source service to the Tor network and is accessible via the pseudo-domain of the top level .onion [3] . The site runs on a wiki engine and provides links to hidden services of Torah, as well as to ordinary sites outside the Tor network (which can be accessed without using a Tor browser ). The Hidden Wiki catalog includes links to child pornography sites, e-commerce selling smuggled goods, including weapons, counterfeit money, identity documents, credit card numbers, drugs, such as Silk Road , which was closed by law enforcement in October 2013 years [4] .
In March 2014, the domain kpvz7ki2v5agwt35.onion was hacked and redirected to the Doxbin website. After that, site mirrors appeared with several different addresses. During Operation Onymous in November 2014, after the hosting in Bulgaria was compromised, the site shows a message about the arrest of the domain name
There are several mirrors and forks of the Hidden Wiki. Many of them exist for ideological reasons, often the mirrors are unstable, inoperative or have filters cleaning materials from child pornography.
In October 2015, The Light Hidden Wiki, a lightweight version of The Hidden Wiki, was created because of the increasing frequency of linking and fraudulent services. All moderation of links is centralized - through the administrator.
