Esther Ledecka ( Czech Ester Ledecká ; born March 23, 1995 , Prague ) - Czech snowboarder and skier ; 2018 Olympic champion in alpine skiing and snowboarding, two-time world champion in snowboarding in parallel disciplines, four-time winner of the World Cup in snowboarding in parallel disciplines, multiple winner of the stages of the World Cup in snowboarding. The first woman in history to win Olympic gold at the one Winter Games in two different disciplines ^[1] (at the different Winter Games among women this was previously possible for the skier and biathlete Anfisa Reztsova ).

December 21, 2018 was recognized as the athlete of the year in the Czech Republic ^[2] .

Family

Father - famous Czech singer and guitarist Janek Ledecki . Grandfather Jan Klapach - two-time Olympic medalist , 1972 world champion in the Czech Republic ice hockey team ^[3] .
