Mass production began in 1936 and went at a slow pace, which led to a revision of the design and the appearance of the 1935S modification. In the summer of 1940, German troops, having captured the SACM military plant, established mass production, equipping the entire army with similar pistols. About 23 thousand pistols were German soldiers labeled Pistole 625 (f) . After the war in 1944, the production of pistols for the French army continued: in total, from October 1937 to February 1950, almost 85 thousand pistols were produced.

Model 1935S

The model appeared in 1938 after a design change and received the 1935S marking. Production was established by MAT, MAS and SAGEM. The main differences of the model were the simplified shape of the handle, a shortened frame and shutter, and the muzzle of the barrel began to stick slightly forward. Until 1950, the pistols were in service with the French army. The 7.65 mm caliber cartridge, however, had an insufficient stopping effect, which led to the removal of the pistols from the armament. In total, about 83 thousand pistols of this model were produced.
