Entrerríos ( Spanish: Entrerríos ) is a city and municipality in northern Colombia , in the Antioquia department. Included in the North Antioquia subregion .

History
Before the arrival of the Spaniards, the territory of the municipality was inhabited by representatives of the Indian tribe es: Nutabes . The settlement from which the city later grew was founded in 1830 . The municipality of Entrerrios was separated into a separate administrative unit in 1835 .
Geographical position
The city is located in the central part of the department, in the highlands of Central Cordillera , approximately 29 kilometers north of Medellin , the administrative center of the department. The absolute height is 2443 meters above sea level [1] .
The municipality of Entrerrios borders in the west and north-west with the municipality of Belmira , in the east and northeast - with the municipality of Santa Rosa de Osos , in the southeast - with the municipality of Donmatias , in the south - with the municipality of San Pedro de Los Milagros . The area of the municipality is 219 km² [2] .
Population
According to the National Administrative Department of Statistics of Colombia, the total population of the city and municipality in 2012 was 9,501 people [3] . The dynamics of the population of the municipality by years:

According to the 2005 census, men accounted for 51.9% of the Entreririos population, women - 48.1%, respectively. Racially, whites and mestizos accounted for 93.1% of the city’s population; Negroes , mulattoes and Raysals - 6.9% [4] . The literacy rate of the entire population was 90.9%.
Economics
Entrerrios’s economy is based on agricultural production , aquaculture , textile and dairy industries.
51.6% of the total number of urban and municipal enterprises are trade enterprises, 33.8% are service enterprises, 12.2% are industrial enterprises, 2.4% are enterprises of other sectors of the economy [4] .
