In 2011, Joe Cornish directed his first feature film, Aliens in the Area . In 2011, the film “ The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn ” was released, which was shot according to his script (together with Edgar Wright).
In November 2013, Cornish became the main contender for the post of director of the new film in the rebooted Star Trek universe. The film was released in 2016, the director was Justin Lin .
