Early years

Tayler was born into the family of Paul and Monique Hill. She has six brothers and sisters: Tanisha, Paul Jr., Morgan, Jade, Angel and Malaki [1] . From an early age, Hill was engaged in basketball under the guidance of his father, who successfully coached several teams of the Amateur Sports Union, for which his daughter played [2] . Tayler's older brother, Paul Jr., also played basketball and defended for the Ohio State University team. Basketball was also played by her older sister, Tanisha Scott, who played for the team of the University of Minnesota in Duluth and became a basketball coach [3] . Cousin Tayler, Devon George , played in the NBA and three times became the champion of the Los Angeles Lakers [1] . In addition to basketball, Hill was involved in childhood and football [4] .

She began her debut season in professional basketball as a starting five player, but after seven games she was transferred to the reserve. Hill finished the 2013 season with an average score of 6.5 points per game. Tayler missed almost the entire next season due to pregnancy, returning only for the last five matches. In early 2017, Hill signed a new four-year contract at Mystics. [7] In the 2017 season, Tyler continued to play in the starting five, but Elena Delle Donne, who joined the team, lost the role of the main set of points. In July of the same year, Hill suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and was out of action before the end of the season [8] . After returning to the 2018 season, Hill became a substitute, losing his place in the starting five to young Ariel Atkins [9] .
