Development History
The project of the landing boat 02320 “Cossack” was developed by the specialists of OJSC “ZNT-Engineering”, which is the design bureau of the plant “Nizhny Novgorod ship”. The chief designer of the project is Andrei Chichagov [1] . The purpose of the project was to equip with boats the UDC project of the Mistral type . After the refusal of delivery by the French side of the UDC to the Russian Navy, the boats will be offered as a replacement and supplement to the FAR of the project 1785 and 1176 “Shark” . Also, they will be offered for picking UDC type "Avalanche" [2] .
For the first time, the project DKA 02320 “Cossack” was presented at IMDS-2013 in St. Petersburg.

During the development of the project, modern management automation systems were taken into account and implemented, so that the full crew consists of four people.
Since the project was originally developed underTTK UDC type "Mistral", then in the docking chamber UDC can simultaneously accommodate 4 boats of this project.
Boats can be used as multifunctional vessels during diving and rescue operations at depths of up to 60 meters.
Construction
Boats are landing ponds with an open hold and a nasal ramp. The cabin with the controls and the engine room are located in the stern of the boat.

Armament
The armament of the boats consists of three remote-controlled modules: one with a Kord or Cliff machine gun of 12.7 mm caliber, in the others, naval versions of the AGS-17 (AG-17A) automatic grenade launcher of 30 mm. As standard weapons are also used: two anti-sabotage grenade launcher DP-64 "Nepryadva" and four MANPADS "Igla" [3] .
