Vitya Voroshevich Ayvazyan ( Armenian Վիտյա Վորոշի յվազյան , December 31, 1955 , Spandaryan - August 29, 1990 , Yerevan ) is a National Hero of Armenia .

Biography and Activity

Vitya Ayvazyan was born on December 31, 1955 in the city of Spandaryan ( Artik district ).

  • 1962 - entered the Yerevan secondary school number 71 named after Nelson Stepanyan .
  • 1970 - continued studies at the Physics and Mathematics School of Yerevan State University (from the eighth grade),
  • 1977 - graduated from the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Yerevan State University.
  • 1977 - went to work at the central representative office of Aishinbank.
  • 1979-1981 - served in Belarus . Service completed the rank of lieutenant .
  • At the end of 1988 - she enters the work in the production association "Azure".
  • January 7 (12), 1989 - together with members of the “Karabakh” committee and other activists, was arrested and stayed under arrest for one month.
  • 1989 - became a delegate to the first congress of the Armenian National Movement and was elected a member of the board of the Armenian National Movement. As a member of the ANM board, he participated in the organization of self-defense units that operated in Artsakh and border regions of Armenia.
  • 1990 - elected to the Supreme Council of Armenia.
  • August 29, 1990 - killed along with Gekhaznik Mikayelyan in Yerevan .
  • September 20, 1996 - by decree of the President of Armenia for outstanding services to the homeland, Vitya Ayvazyan was posthumously awarded the highest title of “ National Hero of Armenia ”.

Family

  • Father - Vorosh Grigorovich Ayvazyan (born in 1933) worked as an economic builder.
  • Mother - Kima Avakovna Ayvazyan (born 1930) is a teacher by training. She worked as head teacher, director of school and technical school.
  • Brother - Vahan, sister - Tirui [1]
  • Widow - Karine Vasilyan.
  • Son - Ike (born 1984).
  • Daughter - Hasmik (b. 1985).
