Story

In Belgrade ( Serbia ), former Scorpion soldier Emil Kovacs (Travolta) receives information from his informant about American Benjamin Ford (De Niro), a former NATO operative. After leaving service to forget the war, Ford settled in a secluded hut somewhere in the Appalachians . Now, as a hermit, on a hunt, he meets Kovacs, who posed as a tourist from Europe. They are friends until Kovacs reveals the truth who he really is.

Intending to take revenge, he begins with Ford a bloody game of “cat and mouse,” but receives decent resistance and the “victim” with the “hunter” periodically change roles. During the decisive match, Ford prevails over Kovacs. After understanding each other's problems, they reach a truce.

Kovacs secretly returns to Serbia with the intention of starting a new life, and Ford visits his son, whom he has long avoided communicating with due to family circumstances.
